Frequently asked questions
Practical answers about the In Situ 360 service. Features can vary by plan and by the version installed on your device.
Accounts and profiles
What is In Situ 360?
In Situ 360 is a professional networking platform for people and companies in audiovisual, creative, events, media, production and related activities. Members can present professional information, publish and promote professional advertisements, discover profiles and communicate. In Situ 360 may verify registered users and review advertisements, including the legal coverage, quality guarantees and, where appropriate, insurance associated with the services offered. It does not guarantee work or become a party to agreements made between users.
What is the difference between a personal and a business account?
A personal account presents an individual professional. A business account presents a company and records private representative details for account administration. The public profile uses the company name; representative identity fields are not intended to appear to other users. The account type is chosen during registration and cannot be changed later from profile editing.
How do I create or update my profile?
Create an account with email and password, choose Personal or Business, accept the applicable privacy policy and terms, and complete the required profile steps in the app. After registration, open your profile and use Edit to update the fields available for your account type. Portfolio, links and other sections can be managed separately.
What does profile visibility control?
The visibility setting controls whether your profile appears in the app's normal discovery areas. Profile information you deliberately share in a connection, chat, review or external link can still be visible in that context. Review your profile before publishing and avoid adding information you do not want other members to see.
Discovery and portfolio
How does the pricing indicator work?
The public profile shows an indicative band from one to four € symbols. Personal profiles can enter a price and choose an hourly or daily unit; the app converts it into the displayed band. Business profiles choose the band directly. It is only a general indicator, not a quote, binding offer or price set by In Situ 360.
How do links, media and Works appear on my profile?
Profile content is split into separate sections. Links can point to external professional pages. Media can show supported profile content. Works accepts PDF documents selected in the app, currently up to 25 MB per file. Members can also publish professional advertisements and request profile or advertisement promotion through the available plan controls. Advertisements may be reviewed before publication. Only upload material you own or are authorised to use, and do not include confidential information.
How do search and filters work?
Search can use categories and, depending on the plan, filters such as profession, location, tags and price. Plan I currently permits a category plus one additional filter. Plans with advanced search capabilities can combine more filters and use additional sorting options. Results depend on profile visibility and available data.
How do Favorites work?
Use the heart control to add or remove a profile from your single Favorites collection. Favorites are not separate custom lists. Access to a saved profile can still depend on your plan and on whether you already have another permitted route to that profile, such as Home, an existing chat or a connection request.
Connections, chat and reviews
How do I contact another member?
If you do not already share a chat, open the profile and send a connection request with the message shown in the form. The other member can accept or reject it. When accepted, a conversation is created and the request text can become its first message. A request is not a job offer or an agreement guaranteed by In Situ 360.
What can I share in a chat?
Chats support text and, when attachment controls are available in the deployed version, may support images, audio and permitted files. Availability and size or format limits can vary. Shared content is visible to conversation participants and may be processed for delivery, storage, safety and support. Do not send content you are not authorised to share.
How do reviews work?
Where the feature is available for your plan and relationship, you can rate another profile from 1 to 5 stars and add a short comment. A review can be edited, deleted or reported through the available controls. Reviews are user opinions; In Situ 360 does not verify every statement or treat a review as a professional guarantee.
How do I report inappropriate content or behaviour?
Use the report control where it is shown on a profile, chat or review and select the closest reason. Reports are submitted for review; sending one does not guarantee a particular outcome or response time. If the relevant control is unavailable or there is an urgent safety concern, use the contact form. For immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service.
Plans, privacy and account
What changes between Plan I, Plan S and Plan 360?
Plan I provides the basic experience with limits on combined search filters and some profile or review access. Plan S unlocks the advanced search and profile capabilities shown on the current plans page. Plan 360 additionally relates to Workspace access. Advertisement publication, profile promotion and other additional promotional options depend on the contracted plan and the options shown when they are requested. The plans page shown at purchase is the current source for price and billing frequency.
How do I manage my subscription, billing details and invoices?
Open My subscription in the app. The app requests a short-lived authenticated link and opens the secure subscription area on the In Situ 360 website, where the available plan, billing details, invoices and management actions are shown. Secure checkout supports the payment methods offered for the transaction, including credit card, PayPal and Apple Pay. Never send payment credentials through chat or the contact form.
Is cancelling a subscription the same as deleting my account?
No. Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate actions. Cancelling normally changes future renewal while access may continue for the period shown in the subscription area. Deleting an In Situ 360 account does not by itself guarantee cancellation of an external billing agreement, so check the subscription area before deleting the account. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply where relevant.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, choose Forgot password and follow the link sent to the email address associated with your account. You can also start the reset flow from Configure my account. If the link is expired, request a new one. Do not share reset links or codes with anyone.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings, open Configure my account and choose Delete account. Read the confirmation carefully. A successful request signs you out and starts deletion of the account and associated service data, subject to data that must be retained or blocked for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute or backup purposes. Review and cancel any subscription separately.
Where can I ask a privacy, billing or safety question?
Use the public contact form or email support@in-situ360.com. Include only the information needed to identify and explain the issue. Do not send passwords, full payment card data or confidential chat attachments. Privacy rights requests are handled under the Privacy Policy.
